Meet Crocodylus: three very good boys from Sydney that make sweaty, blistering garage rock which always pairs well with a few cheeky bevs. Combining their respective love of classic punk and contemporary garage, alternating lead singers Stephen Sacco and Josh Williams share songwriting duties, making for a project that’s as hard to place as they are to miss. Chuck in the propulsive talents of drummer Mikel Salvador and you’ve got Crocodylus, alright!
Almost entirely by word-of-mouth, Crocodylus have become one of the most in-demand garage bands in Sydney, having landed supports with the likes of The Lemon Twigs (USA), Hockey Dad, The Pinheads, Los Scallywaggs, Hideous Sun Demon and Los Tones. In addition to a string of huge supports, Crocodylus played the 2017 Sounds of the Suburbs festival alongside Skegss, Camp Cope, Bleeding Knees Club and more. With their 2nd EP ‘Christian Syrups’ due for release in early November 2017, and their first headline tour in November-December 2017, there are plenty of reasons to keep your eyes on these three very good boys.
